As part of the due diligence process when evaluating program options for members, LBA used this plan to provide health insurance to its own employees. In the first year, the LBA lowered premiums by 6%. After 15 months on the plan, the association received a rebate of approximately 7%, or $3,900, due to lower-than-expected claims.
